A Brief History

Hillpoint Timber was started in the mid 1970s by the late Allan Munro, to supply fence posts to the local farming community. Later this business grew to include custom treating, kiln drying and saw milling. Today Hillpoint still provides these core services, but also produces quality landscaping supplies, wooden fence posts and rail fencing in both round and sawn options, kitset sheds, barns and stables, and a range structures unique to Hillpoint Timber.

We do Post & Rail fencing with three different rail options like - 1, 2, or 3 rail options in either Treated Radiata or Macrocarpa timber. Our system is manufactured with a traditional straight-through mortise in the post so that the rails interlock securely without the need for any ugly brackets and making for a strong fence that is easy to install.
